Job Description

You will be responsible for developing business relationships with both existing and new clients. You will be required to visit clients across Japan as part of existing and new contract arrangements. You will be responsible for managing the sales of SBD reports and assist with negotiating consultancy projects that will be serviced by our UK and Japan offices. You will also be responsible for managing the client database and reporting sales status to the UK on a weekly basis. You will play a key role in the SBD global strategy by identifying sales targets in Japan both for SBD Japan as a company, and on each key client account.

Required certifications

Good presentation skills and a professional manner are pre-requisites. You must be fluent in both spoken and written Japanese and familiar with Japanese business practices and etiquette. Would suit Japanese national who has previously worked with international companies. Good spoken and written English are also essential.

Ideally you should;

*have a successful proven background of technical sales in Japan ideally within the automotive or related industries

*possess a technical understanding of automotive technology and communications
technologies, but training on the company products and business areas will be provided

*have a high level of competence in the use of the following software packages;
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
