Job Description

1. Ensure all machines are meeting the minimum requirement for the business
Virus Control
2. Maintenance of accurate Desktop Inventory and interface with the Asset management group.
3. Maintenance of PC images
Planning and execution of Desktop Relocations
4. Management of faulty hardware
Ensure all data centre supplies are meeting minimum reorder level
5. Complete schedule tasks before deadline
6. Collection of performance data for statistic analysis
7. Creation and maintenance of supporting documentation.
8. First level support of desktop PC issues
9. Perform shift duty.

Required certifications

Skills and Experience
1. Minimum 4-years experience
2. Proven track record within existing technical support role
3. Ability to troubleshoot problems in a logical and timely manner
4. Ability to own and manage problems
5. Ability to communicate at all levels and build appropriate rapport
6. Strong Analytical skills
7. Customer service experience in a client-facing environment

In-depth knowledge of:

o Microsoft Windows XP
o Microsoft Office Products
o TCP/IP and Networking
o Firewall/Security Technologies
o Web Browser Technology (IE and Firefox)
o UNIX (Preferred)
o Perl (Preferred)
o HTML/Web Technologies
o SecurID and Remote Access Technologies preferred
o Sybase, SQL (Preferred)
o MCSE qualified or part qualified preferred
o Understanding of financial markets and products
